Yes, payment limits apply depending on the payment mode:
Payment ModeMaximum Amount
Merchant-presented mode (static code)5,000 CNY
Consumer-presented mode (dynamic code)50,000 CNY or the cardholder’s card limit (whichever is lower)
The dynamic code option allows for higher transaction amounts, with the actual limit being the lower of the specified ceiling and the individual card’s limit.
